There are hundreds of Random Events that could happen while you are browsing Marapets. Your Random Event will appear immediately at the top of the page. You can remove the alert right away by clicking the [x] otherwise it will automatically disappear after the second time it is viewed. (The "There is new news - go read the latest site updates!" notice is the most common, but does not technically qualify as a random event since it hovers above these events and does not disappear until the user either clicks the News sign at the sidebar, clicks the banner or the [x] next to it (which takes you to the News page).) Visiting the Fortune Teller also gives you a random event at a set time.

- Finding or dropping MP
- Finding a random item
- Getting Clumsy and dropping an item (Also, it's worth mentioning that you can get an avatar from a Clumsy event and even encounter one when you go to use an item.)
- Gaining pet stats
- Your pet may come down with a disease
- Geting Account Upgrade Credit
- Being ambushed by a Wild Minipet
- Getting ads for the Referral System and Account Upgrades
- Having a Bingo or Lottery ticket blow your way
- Receiving Stock Market shares
- Your attic may break
