The Magenta Costume is a costume that is available at the Costumes Shop as of April 19th, 2017. Magenta is a color that can either be described as purplish-pink or mauvish-crimson. It is the complementary color of green. Its name originated from a dye made in 1859 called fuchsine that was renamed in 1860 to celebrate the Italian-French victory at the Battle of Magenta the year before on June 4. Hint: Remember how we mentioned that Pixie pets wore fuchsia headbands? Well, magenta and fuchsia are the exact same color.
